Let me introduce myself… my name is Maranda. I’m a certified holistic nutritionist, certified personal trainer, wellness coach, group exercise instructor and soon-to-be certified human design reader and coach.
I'm also a mom. A wife. A fur mom.
I love travel and photography. I also love tacos, pizza and chocolate.
I struggled for years with infertility, but was finally blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Overall I had a healthy pregnancy, but I gained about 50 pounds during this time. After giving birth I felt so disconnected from my own body. I didn't recognize myself in the mirror, and I wasn't comfortable in my own skin.
Through exercise and nutrition I started feeling like myself again, worked off the pregnancy weight, regained strength and rehabilitated my core after c-section. And all while learning to be a new mom and trying to figure out this next phase of life.
I am really proud of how far I've come in strength since giving birth, and how much I've grown as a person. Finding new strength and confidence in myself has helped me to be a better mother, wife and friend.
I'm here to teach and share the tools I used. And if I can do it, I promise, so can you!!
A little more on my background…
Before becoming a nutritionist and wellness coach, I taught cardio dance and group exercises classes in Austin, TX for over a decade.
In 2012 I completed certification for AFAA Group Exercise as well as CPR/AED and First Aid. Since then I've been licensed and taught many formats including Zumba and Zumba Toning, X-Pert X-Pole aerial pole fitness, PiYo (pilates/yoga), as well as lead other class formats including rebounding/trampoline, tumbling, body band boot camp, and burlesque. I have also completed training in Perinatal Fitness.
In 2018 I earned a Personal Trainer certification with AFAA, and in 2022 became a certified holistic nutritionist through AFPA.
I am currently working to complete certified Human Design Reader training to expand my wellness coaching after having personally experienced how empowering and life changing understanding your individual Human Design can be.
